Keeping Up With The High Life in The US

For the next country that we went to, we picked a two-week long trip to the United States. I mean, every person who’s into traveling should have gone to the US at least once in her life. So that’s exactly what we did.

Our trip started last April 9, 2016. Our first day in the US wasn’t the trip I was expecting since we spent the whole day checking in and setting up our hotel room. The next day, we immediately went to the places the US is known for. Of course, there’s the Manhattan Times Square. Our trip wouldn’t be complete if we won’t get to have our pictures were taken and lunch in this place. Afterward, we went to the Grand Central Terminal and watched a New York Knicks Game at Madison Square Garden. First day in and we’re already feeling the US way of living.

For the next few days, we see to it that we go to the most frequented places like Central Park, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Empire State Building, Museum of Modern Art, World Street, New York Stock Exchange, World Trade Center, and Brooklyn Bridge. It was tiring, but the whole family had lots of fun learning more about New York.

On our fifth day in New York, it was time for us to go to Los Angeles to see what more US can offer us. Immediately on our first day in LA, we saw the ever famous Sunset Boulevard then immediately went to the Chinese Theater and Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Of course, our US trip wouldn’t be complete if we haven’t gone to the Universal Studios and Disneyland Park. On our eighth day, we went to see the ever famous Hollywood sign at the Hollywood Highland Mall.

We, then, headed to The Manhattan at Times Square. For our next itinerary, we went to the Statue of Liberty and watched a Cirque du Soleil performance at Broadway in the evening. We went to the White House at Washington the following day visited the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.

Our twelve-day trip was a roller coaster ride of emotions and learnings. Nevertheless, our US trip never failed to bond us three as a family. Not only that we got the chance to learn more about the United States but we’ve also learned more about each other. Surely, it’s an experience that we will never forget.
