Fun Days in Florida

For our twenty-fifth day in the United States, we left Boston to head out to Orlando, Florida. By ten in the morning, we were already on our way to the Boston Logan Airport for our flight. By five in the afternoon, we have arrived at our destination – the Orlando International Airport. We checked in to our apartment located at the Lake Square Circle, then we got to the Orlando Premium Outlet Store to grab a quick dinner.  We never thought that we could see a lot of retailer and designer brands there. There were designer labels like Armani Exchange, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, and the like. While there were still shops that sold more of the commercial products like Adidas, Burberry, and Coach, if you’re into shopping, then you’ll surely not going to be let down by this place. Plus, you get everything less than its original price since you bought it from an outlet store. We headed back to our apartment just before 9 in the evening.

The next day, we went to Disneyland. Of course, our family trip wouldn’t be complete if we didn’t visit this magical place in Florida. My son, being the adventure-seeker that he is, enjoyed the rides and attractions. Like with all our experience in every Disneyland and theme parks we’ve been to, we allotted one full day for us to enjoy the park thoroughly. We didn’t run out of things to do in Disneyland. However, one full day isn’t enough. We went home just before dinner time.

Since Florida is home to both Disneyland and Universal Studios, we scheduled our trip to the latter the following day. There’s really something about theme parks that my family loves when we travel abroad. We couldn’t afford to miss visiting it there is an amusement park available in the area.

Our last day in Florida, however, was also our scheduled day to go to Toronto. By ten in the morning of May 14, we were already on our way to Boston Logan Airport for our flight to Toronto, Canada. It was also the same day that we checked in to the Hoddenbagh house.

Our short stay in Florida marked the end of our United States leg. We think that it’s only fitting that we concluded our travel in America by spending two full days in two of the most popular amusement parks in the country.
