Wonders to Wander

University Tours in Boston

Day 1

We have just spent exactly three weeks in the United States. This time around, we are headed to Boston. Before Boston, we were coming from Texas. After checking out from our place in Texas, we went to Houston George Bush International Airport. After hours of waiting for departure and finally boarding the plane, we arrived at the Boston Logan Airport at about 2:50 PM. It took us quite some time to get to our apartment. Thankfully, we had a comfortable Uber ride. It’s where we had the chance to rest after a tiring trip. Since we were all too beat up to move, we decided to call it a night and save our itinerary for the next day.

Day 2

For our second day in Boston, we know that we can’t afford to miss seeing the famous Harvard University. Sure, it may just be a school of learning for some, but there is a lot of picturesque stuff you can see here, too. You can avail of a Guided Tour in Harvard but its on a first come first serve basis and unfortunately the slots were already filled. So we just went there and toured the campus ourselves.

While were in Harvard, my husband attended a seminar and Mikko and I waited at the library.

By four in the afternoon, we were having our snacks at Shake Shack After eating, we took a six-minute Uber ride from Harvard to our apartment in Brookline.

Day 3

Our third day is yet another university tour. Well, what will you expect to do in Boston since it’s the home to the United States’ many universities? After eating our breakfast, we booked an Uber to take us to the Massachusets Institute of Technology or MIT. Like with Harvard, MIT also has a guided public tour but we decided to do it ourselves. We got to see MIT’s famous buildings in-campus like the Kendall Square and Stata Center, The Green Building, Great Dome.  We had some snacks at Dunkin Donuts, MIT Campus and went back to the apartment and rest.
